Any ideas of cheap places to stay, places to go, what to see? This is actually a post for my best friends bachelorette party that I am supposed to be planning and I have never even been to Vegas before!

I don't think we will be doing too much gambling, so fun stuff otherwise would be good.

Can you give us some more info??

Would you prefer going to clubs? Or going to shows? Or shopping? There are naughty shows like Thunder from Down Under or Chippendales, and tons of different Cirque du Soleil shows. I also suggest checking out the dueling pianos in the NY NY hotel. I can also name some sweet night clubs if you're into that.

MGM has some great restaurants, as does Paris. I'll try and get some more specific names for you as I'm drawing a blank.

As far as hotels, deff stay on the Strip. I've stayed in NY NY, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo and Circus Circus. I can give you more details on each hotel if you're interested in any of those. (I don't suggest Circus Circus for many reasons!)

Make sure to check out the water show at the Bellagio fountains, the volcano at the Mirage and the show at Treasure Island (although this is the least impressive and can be skipped if you don't have time). These are all free.

How long are you going for?

clubs would be good, cirque du soleil sounds great actually now that I think about it. I'm not sure what Circus Circus is but I'll look into it.  Probably not any naughty shows but maybe....

We are going to be there for 3 nights in february

Love Vegas!  You should be able to get some great deals in February, but just a heads-up that I believe a lot of the pools are closed then for the winter.

Last time I went (over the summer) we went through JetBlue vacations, and got a great deal that included flight, hotel, and free show tickets.

I second PP that definitely stay on the Strip, and read hotel reviews!  Females can get into pretty much all clubs for free and there's passes being handed out everywhere.  You just kind of have to plan your night because it's a longggg walk from one hotel to the next.  The food is great, and just walking on the Strip is fun.

I recommend Cirque du Soleil LOVE (the beatles tribute)... It absolutely blew my mind! I've seen others, but that one continues to be my favorite.

Circus Circus is one of the hotels and it's not on the Strip. Like I said, do not recommend haha. All of the others I listed are and you'll be in a good location with any of them (NY NY and Monte Carlo are more in the middle of everything). You can deff get some good package deals (I usually book through Expedia/Travelocity).

Clubs: Moon, Tao, Lax, Tryst and Coyote Ugly are some of the ones I would go back to. Oh and PP is right... Passes are always being handed out so you don't have to pay the entrance fees. :)

You can also sometimes score half off tix to shows the day off, but you have to be flexible with which shows you want to see/times.
