How many of you ladies had/are actually having a bachelorette party (of any kind)? For the ladies that had bridal party members who were underage, what did you do to make sure they were included?

Not having one. I only have one attendant (MOH) and she's been going through some crazy stuff with her family and boyfriend so I'm not having one. And I'm totally ok with it. I'm staying at her place the night before the wedidng and we're going to watch movies and just chat. I know I won't be able to sleep so we're going to rent a few movies-chick flicks of course!

I'm having one the week before the wedding, but I don't know what we're doing.  Honestly, I feel bad but I don't know that the underage bridal party  members will be involved at all.  One of my sisters is 16, one of my FI's is 18, and it'll be a school night (Thurs), they can't get in anywhere that we actually LIKE going out to, and they really don't mind.  Obviously they would like to be able to attend, but they understand the situation and had just apparently assumed all along that it would be that way.  Maybe if we decide to go out to dinner first they can make it into the city if our respective parents let them use the car, but who knows.

I'm assuming you have a few underage members.  Talk to them and see hwo they feel about it?

I just had mine two weekends ago. It was so much fun to have all of the important ladies in my life together. Everyone was over 21, so drinking was involved. We had a BBQ, then BJ class (like Old School - was very funny), and finally the bar on Friday. Then Saturday we went to the beach, got ready, played sweet games* while pre-drinking, opened presents, and went to the bar (with my FI and his friends too).

    * not corny games = my bridesmaid who organized the event had all 17 girls write their first impressions of me, favorite memories, funniest stories etc. she jumbled up the stories and i had to guess who wrote each story. if i got it right, they all had to drink. if i got it wrong, my turn to drink. i did well and we all ended up drunk. hehe.

Purdue: There was just a thread on ideas for underage bachelorette parties that you might want to check out.

I'm doing the traditional wild bachelorette with my sister and girlfriends, and then I think we're going to Six Flags with the young'uns :o)

I just had mine last weekend. We did dinner, drinks, casino and dancing. There were no underage party members so for what we did was OK.

We had tons of fun! This post reminds me that I need to update my blog with some pics.

I'm having one. It's actually more of an entire weekend thing. The plan is for all of the maids and groomsmen, along with us of course :p, to go to my parents' beach house. We'll spend the weekend all together, and probably go out separately one night. :)

For us, we only have 2 attendants in our whole wedding party who are under 21, and those are FI's younger brother and sister. His dad and step-mom have already told us that they don't need to go to the bachelorette/bachelor party, so my MOH is able to plan mine without worrying about that.

However, I do want her to be more involved, so I'm planning to invite her to my Friends Only Bridal Shower as well as the family one. If she's able to come, I feel like it will be nice for her to get to hang out with my friends.
