Hi Everyone!
I live in Texas now, but I had a bachelorette party and shower in Columbus last month so I wanted to give a review of the bachelorette party for other brides :)
My bachelorette party started out at a place called "The Candle Lab" up in Worthington, OH. It's a place where you can mix your own candles. They have a small private room in the back, and they allowed us to bring in food (and booze) from a local restaurant (we picked up food from Buca di Beppo, which is down the street). The room is small, it would probably hold no more than 15 people but it was perfect for our group.
The staff was great--the guy working that night was a lot of fun and very helpful. The bridesmaid who organized it said they were very easy to work with while she set everything up.
Candle making was a blast--we went later in the evening so there weren't many customers in the store at that point. We had the store pretty much to ourselves.
After that, we walked next door to a place called "House Wine" to do some wine tasting. It was a lot of fun, and the staff was very accomodating to our large group. We went downtown to Big Bang after that.
The highlight of our night was definitely "The Candle Lab", so if you're looking for something unique to do for a bachelorette party, you should check them out. We all had a blast!!
