I’m not a bridesmaid, but I just had my bachelorette party!

We hired a limo to take us out for the night, but before we went, each girl bought me an item of lingerie. They didn’t put their names on the gifts, so I had to guess who purchased each piece.

This was great for two reasons– one, it was really fun to try to match up the gift with the personality of the person who gave it to me. We had a lot of laughs as i tried to guess! And two, I have a few things of lingerie, but my FI and I have been together for ages, so I don’t  use it a lot. It was REALLY NUCE to get all of this new lingerie. I plan to save it all for our honeymoon and I plan on wearing one each night, no matter how tired I am after sight seeing all day!!!!!!

[PS- This is good for all prices ranges. People can buy you a pair or two of sexy undies if their price range is more limited, and it is still a lot of fun.)

I went to a really awesome bachelorette party last summer!! Here’s the link to my post:

Miss J’s Amazing Bachelorette Party!

Everyone brought dresses (costumes, old bridesmaid or prom dresses, wigs, costume jewelry, gloves hats etc) and we tried on the dresses and took fun pictures in a "booth", a corner with a tripod & camera set up. It was so much fun! This alone was very entertaining, but we also had fun cocktails, cupcakes & appetizers, vintage movies, gifts for the bride etc. It was such a blast!

This isn’t a theme necessarily but last summer we went to a winery that had a yoga and winetasting class.  It was amazing and our whole weekend was about pampering.  We went to the spa, hung out by the pool and went for a long walk along the beach.

I’ve also been to cooking theme bridal shower and I think that was fun as well.

Were gonna do a night out of dinner/drinking and then go back to someones house and have a good old fashioned sleepover with Mall Madness, Girl Talk, and cheesy movies.  So not into the stripper parties!

Oh Taffy those are pretty great. haha….love it! We are having a BIG FABULOUS earring theme for my friends bach party. She is the queen of big amazing earrings so we are all breaking them out in honour of her for her night out.

We have also had a "wig" night. Not yet for a bach party but just a bday party night I believe a while back. We each had a different wig, one did a hot pink bob, one did a black "rihanna" do, so on and so on. That was the most fun night ever!

I have also seen a party where everyone had a shade of white or cream top and the bachelorette was in black for her "last night out". Also very classy & cute!
