Does anyone know a great hotel for a bachelorette party in Vegas?  never been, so don't know much about the area.

I suggest you stay on the strip so you're close to everything. When are you going? There are some great hotel deals right now. I've stayed in NY NY, Monte Carlo, Luxor and Mandalay Bay so PM me if you want specifics!

ETA: Knowing your budget and what activities you're planning on while you're there would be helpful too!

We're staying at the Aria, I know my MOH got rooms for $129 a night (except for Saturday which I think is 220)

depends on your budget... but i'll be biased and suggest caeser's =)

they have their own mall, which is HUGE and their own spa (both of which i plan on visiting ^_^). planning a trip there for the b-party too and staying there. it's also a really central location, you can pretty much walk to most places or take short taxi cab rides. pricing can vary depending on the type of room, but it's def cheaper than others like venetian, wynn, bellagio, etc.

and fyi, i've been to vegas at least once a year for as long as i can remember (cept the last year) and my personal best experience was caeser's and venetian. stayed at a few lower end/higher end places, both those were the best in terms of how amazing the hotel looked/felt and the location.

I went with some friends a few years ago and stayed at Treasure Island.  Yes, it was a bit gimmicky on the outside, but we got a great price and the quality of the hotel & pool area was fantastic!

Unless money is not a concern, I would suggest staying somewhere that is decent but on the cheaper side, since we barely spent any time in our hotel rooms anyways!  We spent some time at each of the hotels eating (Mandalay Bay had an amazing brunch!), shopping (Fashion Show Mall and The Crystals were my favorites), and of course checking out all of the casinos (by the end of the trip we were poor and stopped at O'Shea's for some seriously fun/cheap/trashy gambling).  There's so much to see and do in Vegas!  You'll have a great time no matter where you stay, so save your money on the hotel and spend it out having a blast!

we're going may 6-9 for my bachelorette!

finally got the situation settled.... after so much drama from one bm. oh dear god. i had my moh be in charge of it and somehow it ended up being the whole bridal party planning and bickering about cost and what they want to do! my advice to you, plan it yourself because i ended up saying what i want to do to stop their arguements.

we're staying at the venetian in the bella suite. there are 8 of us total.

the venetian is the prime place to stay (smacked middle of the strip). the best night clubs are there.

we are getting a vip package for tao, lavo, and tao beach club for $50 bux a girl. this includes admission to those places and 1 hour free drinks. we're also getting a cabana for tao beach club for $200. eating dinner at spago in ceasars.

i would recommend staying in the middle of the strip, and walking everywhere. taxi's get jammed in traffic, and you'll end up paying $$$ to sit idle in traffic.

if money is not an issue, stay at ceasars!!

others i would recommend are bellagio and of course the venetian.

I went a few yeqrs back to my friends bach pqrty and about 15 girls. We stayed at the rio. The suites were huge and connecting so we qll were together plus it was cheap. They have a cool bar there, the thunder from down under show (it was ok), and the club was fun.

You definitely want to stay on the strip. Not sure what your budget is like, but when I went to Vegas on vacation 2 summers ago, we stayed at the Venetian. It's really beautiful inside. They have good restaurants, shopping, clubs, etc.

@tucklover: I *just* booked a package including 2 nights at the Hotel Paris plus roundtrip from Northern California, airport shuttle, taxes, fees for approx. $247. per person at the start of June! We were considering Monte Carlo but after learning of the $16./night "resort fee" (be sure to ask about this no matter where you stay) and some recent poor reviews, we opted for Paris which did not have a resort fee. Also highly recommended are Venetian, Bellagio and Wynn, Planet Hollywood, MGM, Mandalay. I understand from a trusted friend that lives in Vegas to steer clear of Circus, Circus and Riviera.

We stayed at the Venetian for my friends b-day and had a blast!  It was centrally located and had tons of stuff for us to do on-site.
