I currently live in Tennessee, my entire bridal party ( except for 1) lives in Louisiana, where I am from... so we are all meeting down in Gulf Shores, AL ( where my parents currently live) and getting a condo for the weekend and shopping, eating, going out and having our big bash on a Saturday night in April (I am getting married in May) so it will be 3 weeks before my actual wedding
Since our wedding is in December I am have my bachelorette party in october because I don't want people to have spend money on that in the same month as thanksgiving or Christmas. We are renting a cabin in a beautiful wooded area with a hot tub, sauna, all that jazz. There are walking trails and waterfalls on the property. We will stay two nights and each person will be in charge of cooking one meal (6 meals total for six people, breakfast,lunch, dinner for two days) I am so excited! I imagine nice hikes, eating well, playing games, drinking lots of wine, lots of hit tubbing and late night chatting :)
Mi Lil Sis /MOH is in NYC , she planned so that my bachelorette party will be in Mid-march during her spring break vacation.
I think I'm going to have mine in September, and my wedding is November. Really not sure what I'm going to do, but it won't involve traveling out of town. My FH and I want to have our bachelor/bachelorette parties on the same night. One of us will get a hotel (we live together) and the other will stay in our apt probably.
Mine is two weekends before the wedding. Ex. It's Feb. 18 and wedding is March 3.
We didn't want it the weekend-of because, honestly, that would give me an anxiety attack. I wanted to have our last girls weekend - we are being a bit untraditional - we are going to my MOH's cabin in the mountains and having a spa/wine/chick flicks weekend.
Also we didn't want it the weekend before the wedding due to some bridal party logistics, honestly. My MOH is leaving for the UK the night of our wedding (she is a busy bee!) and we wanted to give her a last weekend with her family. They are also coming to the wedding, as they are friends of the family, but we wanted them to have more time together. :)
May 26 wedding, March 16 bachelorette weekend cruise to Mexico. Had to coincide with spring break so my FSIL can go since she's in Vet school.
mine was like 6 weeks before our wedding. It was in Provicetown, MA, which is the tip of Cape Cod. It's widely known for it's Gay population...ie drag shows, gay bars, general silliness. It was SO much fun!
Mine will be the weekend of June 9th, two weeks before my wedding. We rented a beach house in Galveston, TX. I can't wait to lay out and drink all day with my best girlfriends. I know I sound like a lush but I dont care. Bring on the partay!

Not sure how far before the wedding to party hardy. When are you having yours? Is it going to be the same weekend/night of the other half? And of course the BIG question, what are you doing?!?!
