What kind do you want?

I thought of suggestion a cooking party! You can find local cooking schools and you rent it out for a day of cooking lessons with a pro chef. At the end you get to eat the food you all cook!

ETA: Treadwell Cuisine a Farm To Table restaurant offers cooking lessons! I would love to take one one day. They are in Ontario.

I’m throwing a Sex in the City themed Bachelorette Party.  The bride is a HUGE SATC fan and the newest movie is coming out the weekend of the party.  We’ll be spending Friday night at my house, watching the first movie and drinking cocktails, then on Saturday, we’ll be driving up to NYC, seeing the second movie, doing the SATC bus tour, and then doing a night out on the town, SATC style!  Sunday we’ll be coming back!

@Gerbera – Thanks!  I hope all the girls (especially the Bride who doesn’t know what we’re doing) will have a good time!  The Bride did mention she would like to go out of town somewhere (she suggested Boston because it’s so close to us but I know she’d love NYC better), so I think she’ll really like it.  It’s kind of pricey, but I’ve been really upfront with all the girls on the costs and some of them are just using some tax refund money to be able to go because they really want to have fun and suppor tthe Bride.  I’m ending up spending a little extra myself, but I figure it’s totally worth it if everyone goes and enjoys themselves!

Another way to have a similar party and not spend as much money is to just throw your SATC-themed (or whatever themed) party at home!  Decorate your place with like NYC scenery and posters, do the movies (or whatever) and serve the correct kind of drinks!

For any Bride who’s big on Twilight, you could do a Forks/Twilight type of Bachelorette Party.  Give some red wines – label them blood types, and do blacks, reds, and whites as your colors.  Watch the movie, drink, and maybe play some Twilight-related games!

My friends always dress up for bacheloretty parties.  We all had bunny ears out one night to go club hopping and another time we all wore tube socks ALA Girls Next Door.

For a friend, we did a “preppy” theme. We all wore cardigans, pearls, headbands, etc. It was super cute!
