I just had to share my bachelorette experience in Charleston!!!
My best friend is getting married in a few weeks and as the Maid of Honor I wanted to do something really fun and special for her with all the girls. We live in Atlanta and decided to escape to the coast for the big Bachelorette weekend.
Never having been to Charleston I didnt know where to stay or what to do. Luckily I found some packages through the Charleston CVB that included hotel and fun things to do during the weekend.
We stayed at the Elliott House Inn on Queen St. right in the middle of downtown. It is a lovely little property centrally located with a gorgeous courtyard where we had free breakfast every morning. There were only five of us so it was a great place for a smaller group of girls to relax. It is right next to 82 Queen, an amazing restaurant where we had dinner one night. The shrimp and grits are to die for! I wont stay anywhere else next time I am in Charleston!
We went out to the bars on Market and East Bay st both nights we were there. Loved the Rooftop Bar. The best part was taking a rickshaw to the bars. the beach was also amazing.
All in all it was an awesome weekend in Charleston and I highly reccommend it for a fun girls weekend!
