So my MOHs and BMs are asking me where I want to go for my bachelorette wknd. Some of them plus friends really want to go out of town as some are mothers and really need a break from the kids. We’re about 37 ish and we’ve done Las Vegas to death, plus have had drama in Las Vegas for another bachelorette party for one of our friends..and we don’t want to be reminded of it..so we want something new.
I know I want a spa day, eat good food, etc. I’m okay about strip clubs, but I don’t want it to be too crazy..or maybe I do….Idk..lol I’ve been to too many of them because I was a bridesmaid for 9 weddings…so I’m looking for something refreshing.
I want to know what places that you’ve been to for your bachelorette party and for other bachelortte parties. What made it fun? Any recommendations?
btw, my MOHs and BMs’ ideas for the Bachelorette Wknd are (note I live in Southern California)
1) Napa ( do wine tasting, spa day, go to San Francisco in the evening, etc)
2) Miami (I’ve never been there before…what’s there to do?)
3) New Orleans ( Never been there either..I know I want to try the food there)

Napa sounds really fun, and I personally LOVE South Beach, Miami. Good food, clubs, beach, etc.

Depends what you want to do. If you want to go clubbing and have a wild and crazy bachelorette party then I’d go with Miami. If you want a more relaxing girls weekend with wine and spas then go to Napa.

Napa in a heartbeat. You can always go out for girls’ night, but something about being in Napa with my best friends kicking it with some wine and spa time sounds uh-mazing.

I’m going to New Orleans for my Bachelorette Weekend! I liked the idea because we wouldn’t need to rent a car, you can go bar hopping down Bourbon St., walk most places, there is a cheap streetcar and it’s something different!

I’ve never been to a traditional bachelorette party and I didn’t have one but I’ve always wanted to go to New Orleans and that sounds like a fresh idea to me!

Napa/San Fran would be awesome, but if you are looking for something a little different I voted for New Orleans. The ciry is so much fun and so funky, you can have your spa days and gourmet food while enjoying history, modern bars and clubs and an amazing culture! My mom did a cooking class for a few hours with some friends in NOLA and has said it is one of her favorite things she’s ever done on a vacation. You can drink wine, learn to cook creole food and get to eat it all in the end! Something different!
