If a non-BM throws you a shower or a bachelorette is there any etiquette involved in thanking them?

This past weekend two of my girlfriends, non-BM's, threw me a faantiastic Bachelorette.  They went to a lot of effort and I am sure they spent a lot of money putting it together.  What is the proper way to thank them? A card a gift?

The other question I have is guests to the bachelorette bruoght lingere gifts, do I need to send thank you cards for that?

Yes, thank you cards for those who bought you gifts.

A small gift and a nice, heartfelt thank you for the hostesses are always appreciated. Even a small box of chocolates or something simple.

Whether they are your BMs throwing it or just good friends, it would be nice to give them some kind of gift/thank you card to thank them for throwing it for you. And then thank you cards to the guests for the gifts and for coming (which is standard across the board for someone giving you gift).

That was very sweet of them to do that for you!

You should always send a thank you for any gift rec'd, even lingerie.  For your friends, because they went above and beyond, I'd get them a little gift but definitely include a heart felt thank you card.

I agree with the above comments.  Thank you cards are always nice, send one to everyone who gave you a gift or helped make your day special. A small hostess gift would be a nice touch, it's a great way to show your ladies they went above and beyond and you noticed :)

I'm glad you had a great bachelorette party!
