Talk to a dermatologist?

Is your back acne seasonal? Maybe it will go away when it’s not as cold and dry out.

Make sure you use a mild cleanser (like Dove) with no perfumes and dyes when you wash. Don’t condition your hair or use leave-in products if your hair will be down. Use a free and clear detergent. If you can, see a dermatologist.

ETA: I personally found that medicated body washes like the Neutrogena one and the Clean and Clear one helped in the beginning, but in the end made my acne worse because they dried out my skin. The best things I did were (1) cut my hair short so it wasn’t leaving oil and product on my back, (2) start washing my pillows and sheets more often, and (3) switch to Dove for sensitive skin (applied with a CLEAN washcloth or puffy luffa thing). I also don’t use any perfumed lotions or anything like that. In colder months, I use unscneted, perfume free Aveeno lotion to moisturize my skin, including my back if necessary.

Makeup. Seriously, glamouflouge by hard candy (@walmart) out performs my Kat Von D tatoo concealer. That stuff will mask anything.

I have some too, it sucks 🙁  I’ve been trying out the Neutrogena Body Clear Body WASH.  It sprays upside down and I’ll just spray it on in the morning when I get out of the shower.  Hard to tell if it’s made a difference yet, but I’m hoping it does!

@MissFireFlower:  The strength of your argument for the glamoflouge has me convinced. I HAVE to try this now.

First – do not let conditioner get on your back !  This helped mine soooo much –       If your willing to do a hormonal birtcontrolle figure one that works for you out now:)     Also cut out all added sugar especially soda

I second neutrogena body clear body wash and also Dickinsons Toner! I use both and I have noticed a huge difference and it only took a week or so!

As an esthetician, I would REALLY recommend doing a series of peels on your back. find a great esthetician in your area who does acid peels. PCA Skin peels are great and you can find estheticians who use the product line in your area by contacting the company. if you don’t want to spend the money on peels try the neutrogenia wash that other bees recommend, but add a layer of salicyclic acid every night. you can get this at the drug store, usually in a 2%. i think clean and clear makes an adfordable one. that should really help!

Moisturize yourself immediately after the shower. BEFORE towel drying. I use either Johnson’s baby oil with aloe vera or any light oils like Grapeseed. (Organic as much as possible).

Did WONDERS. But no, not right away. Natural remedies take a while. So until then I’d use the make up. TRy not to use harsh, chemical cleansers. They might help in the start but will totally f**k yo over later. Sometimes in less than 3 weeks. It gets more and more dfficult to take care of a bigger mess.
