@langloiswedding2013:  it happens to all of us. Don’t worry you’ll get there with deliberate changes in your diet and activity. Just keep going even when the scale lies.

My scale told me I gained 4 pounds which is completely impossible since that means i would have eaten 14,000 calories. A little bummed but I’m going to keep on trucking.

Oh I am right there with you honey! I lost 20lbs from jan- april. I was so happy, I have been trying to get those extra pounds off for years and my wedding really gave me that motivation.  BUT….. since april, when I was feeling great, exercising regularly and eating well…lets say I started to back track.  I havn’t been exercising at all, I have gone back to my old way of eating (and portion sizes) and I just cant seem to get back on the band wagon! Every monday morning I wake up and say the same thing…. It starts today….. and by wednesday its down the drain again.  I can be honest and say that i don’t need to lose much more weight, but I really want that healthier lifestyle back. I guess I just need to stay committed but its so hard! What do you do to stay motivivated and keep yourself on track???

@langloiswedding2013:  Oh my!!! I so know what you are talking about.  Last year I lost 20 pounds.  I bought my dress last November at that weight.  Since November, I have gained back the 20 pounds 🙁  I have my first dress fitting in one month.  I have to get these 20 pounds gone fast.  I am the type of person who stress eats and it has killed me!!!! I wish I was one of those people that lose weight when they stress. Instead, I gain all this weight.  Monday, I got back on the exercise and eating right wagon.  I really hope I can whip myself back into shape because I do not have much time. My wedding is in 66 days:(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@missstarling:  I know when Wednesdays come, like today, I just can’t drag my behind out of the bed to do my exercises and then it just all goes down the drain.  I need some motivation too!

Lol good job on the oreo refusal! I can’t even go near them at the store…

Yea so I lost 14 for my wedding, got married then gained 18 ahhhh! I’m on the post wedding weight loss train : ( Back down 5 though, 13 to go ::sigh::

Don’t worry too too much about losing for your big day, do what you can but don’t lose sleep over it, just try to eat as healthy as possible, drink lots of water, and excercise. You’ll look gorgeous on your wedding day no matter what weight you are! : )

@langloiswedding2013:  OMG you PUT BACK OREOS?! I bow down before your awesome will. Just remember, if you weigh yourself everyday, it isn’t an accurate reading of your overall weight. It can really fluxuate. If it looks like you’ve stopped losing weight or gained 3lbs or something don’t freak out. So long as you’re eating healthfully, it will all work out.

I have this on my refrigerator: “Slipping up doesn’t mean you should give up for the rest of the day. That’s like dropping your phone and trying to smash it.”

You can do this, for SURE. I mean, your’e the girl that put back Oreos. On sale.

@langloiswedding2013:  LOL ok that cake story is hilarious! Yea sometimes I feel like it’s a neverending cycle of gaining, dieting, losing, gaining…and it gets tiresome. But this time I’m just trying to be healthier for life so I can hopefullymaybe lose my bad habits for good. I used to have crazy binges too, mixed with days I’d be doing only 600cal, so unhealthy. This time aiming for 1200-1500cal/day of healthy food! I know it’s so much harder when the pressure of looking good for the wedding is hanging over your head, so I def feel for ya there. But don’t be hard on yourself, remember that your FI loves you exactly how you are and that you’ll look beautiful whether or not you hit your exact goal (I missed my goal by about 10lbs but still felt great on the big day).

20lbs isn’t so much, you can TOTALLY do it! & congrats on 6lbs in 3 days, that’s awesome! I think if you focus on being healthy the weight will fall right off : ) Good luck, keep us updated!

@langloiswedding2013: +1 great advice
