@Entangled: Congrats! You and your hubby look very happy and I love all of the artistic shots by your photographer!
@mousegirl: Thanks! We were so ecstatic the entire weekend (and still quite happy, if a little groggy, and in denial about the state of our apartment).
Simply adorable!!!! You all look like you had a wonderful time :) Congratulations
Thanks, you guys! It was definitely a lot of fun. I think most of the pictures are of people laughing... none of us could stop from making silly comments during the formal pictures.
I love your description! It totally works :)
Congratulations on your marriage! Everything looks amazing!
@TheLionQueen: Thanks!
@Eva Peron: Thank you. :) We totally had NO IDEA going in if everything was going to work together or not. We loved our venue and photographer so we figured we couldn't screw it up too badly, but we told our bridesmaids to wear green dresses an our groomsmen to wear summer suits and didn't know until the wedding itself if it would all match (or worse, if everyone was almost matching and then one person was way different). Plus everyone had been telling me I was crazy for not having any flowers (besides the ones that were part of the venue) or centerpieces.
Everything looks so FUN and i am loving the eyes you are giving your hubby in that picture. Congratulations!
@Mollytov: thanks! It was a really fun party and it was so exciting to see our friends from different parts of our lives get along so well. There's also tons of pictures where I'm looking at him like I have a secret plan or something.
gorgeous! and i am definitely interested in reading more detailed recaps!
where did you go on your honeymoon?
Congratulations!!! You guys look great, I love your dress! :)
I LOVE your photos (and your husband's jacket is awesome)!
Where was your honeymoon?
Thanks!
@KatNYC2011: @PurpleUnicorn: We went to Greece. Which was amazing (if a really, really long trip from San Francisco). My husband studied ancient Greek and classics, but had never been, so we spent a lot of time checking out ruins and museums but also got some beach and pool time in, too.
@PurpleUnicorn: OMG yay. It is exciting people would actually want to read that. My photographer actually said about 3 weeks for full photos (best photog ever!) so I should be able to get started soon.
@KatNYC2011: Glad you like the jacket. The unconventional outfit was a bit of a splurge, but turned out to be 110% worth it. EVERYONE talked about it at the reception and most of the toasts even mentioned it... my uncle who had never met my husband before the weekend even got up and gave a toast that was pretty much "you have this jacket. you are awesome. welcome to the family."
Congratulations! I want to see more pictures!
@Mrs.KMM: Thanks! I'll try to put together some more detailed recaps... maybe I'll even explain why my husband is wearing a cone on his head. ;)
@cameronwedding: Thanks. :)
Congrats!!! Lovely pics, can't wait to see more. Also, post pics of your honeymoon--I'm dying to go to Greece! :)
@hilsy85: Thanks!
I'll try to post some honeymoon pics too eventually. Though most of them are of ruins and museum exhibits. We may have geeked out a little bit. It was amazing, though.
@Miss Godiva: Thanks! I have them, now it's just a matter of putting together some recaps. I'm hoping I can get at least the getting ready pics up today.

It's been a little while, and a very dreamlike couple of weeks between the bouncing excitement of the wedding, three amazing days surrounded by friends and family, and our 25 hour (each way!) honeymoon journey.
It really was surreal, and I wonder if my amazing photographer, Kyle Hepp, hadn't been so on the ball as to have a preview post up on her blog while I was sitting around SFO Monday morning, I might have started to doubt it happened entirely.
Here's a few samples. I'll try to put together some more detailed recaps (are people interested in reading those? I figure if I don't post about some of this I'l forget it entirely!) in a couple weeks when we get the full set back.
There's a whole bunch more preview pictures of our laughter-filled, twinkling semi-tropical, mis-matched, low-detail, tongue-in-cheek wedding full of midnight pizza, in-party afterparties, vodka shots in wine glasses, afternoon and evening naps, and champagne subterfuge here and here.
(and, guys, seriously?! I am like in love with my photograhers. the first post was up before we left for our honeymoon, and within a couple days there was another post PLUS a sideshow. AND Kyle and Seba showed up during our rehearsal to say hi and see the venue and ended up taking pictures of our giggly rehersal, which came complete with comments from the peanut gallery (i.e. my dad) and our reader slapping my butt during the precessional.)
