I would try it for fun! You never know… I was watching Man vs Food and they had bacon ice cream that supposedly tasted good. If that’s what he wants and it’s decent or delicious, why not?

I made bacon chocolate cupcakes… and they were pretty good. There are a few things I’d change if I were to make them again – but overall I was pleased!

there is a place here in town that makes cake donuts and one of them is maple and bacon flavored (sweet donut with frosting and then bacon chucks on like sprinkles) and it is absolutely fabulous. I say go for it and keep us posted how it goes, my fiance would probably love it too!

Alton Brown always has really tasty recipes.  I think it’d be good and a really cool groom’s cake:)

My mom makes bacon wrapped whole beans with brown sugar and it’s delicious!  She just buys canned whole green beans and takes about 3-4 beans and wraps half a piece of bacon around them.  She places them in a pan and covers them with brown sugar and broils them…not sure for how long…but, oh my….

I made candied-bacon chocolate chip cookies once. First you bake brown-sugar covered thick sliced bacon in the oven, then crumble it. It is delicious just candied! Then you add those crumbles to a chocolate chip dough. The cookies were really, really good.

Today I saw maple bacon lollipops and FI wouldn’t let me buy one. I was crushed 🙁 What a party pooper.

I’ve made these bacon chocolate chip cookies with a maple glaze and they are really good! Sweet and salty!

Bacon and chocolate are really popular around Chicago, there are a few restaurants that have desserts involving both.
