Awwww, I'm so sorry to hear this!!! I have only had one facial and I was really nervous about it. I would definitely go back there to ask for your $$ back AND ask the place that you usually go what you should put on your face (I'm thinking aloe, because it is like a cure-all, but I'm sure that they would know more tips)
I'm sure that it will be much better by your wedding, but I would still be really mad and frustrated about the waste of money and damaging your skin ickkkk.
Is there any way you can get in to see a dermatologist in the next few days? There should be able to find a remedy for the red, bumpy skin.
You still have time for it to heal! My face gets all red and nasty after facials...but I don't recommend getting a facial close to your wedding date
That happened to my daughter --it seemed she had an allergic reaction to the stuff they put on her face...for tonight can you take some Benadryl...try googling it and see if that would be ok,,,it can't hurt.
Aww i am so sorry to hear that! Aren't you sooo happy you did not do this on the final week ? This is a moment where we are really lucky to have eachother on here to share these experiences, and learn.. I would have no idea when to get a facial!
I'm so sorry! At the very least, write a yelp review so others can be forewarned. Aloe sounds like a good idea for your face as well as constant application of a gentle moisturizer.
@cheerful def already wrote a review of the place, I did that when I got home caz the experience it inself was so bad. sorry if TMI but last night after reading about aloe (good suggestion) I remember after biniki waxes I used hydrocortisone cream for irriation and it helps.... so I tried it, actually I put that on one side and aloe on the other. Im thinkin the aloe side looks a lil better so I guess I'll be going with that. Lot of traveling coming and up and the holiday will try to see a dermatologist but who knows if I will get in. So hive when should is the idea timing to get a facial before the big day? I have never had a reaction like this to a facial before and totally would have gotten one like a week before now im not so sure.

hey all,
ugh so i got a facial yesterday but stupid me I went to a new place since it was waaay closer than the place I normally go. First off it was a terrible facial, it was NOT a good experience, the woman was terrible, and Im pretty sure she had no idea what she was doing. All of today my face has been red but i didnt realize until just now how bad it was, my face is red and bumpy (pretty noticeable).... ugh and my shower is tomorrow and my wedding is in less than 4 weeks! I think it will clear up in 4 week I mean I hope so... ugh Im just so pissed!!! I would go back but Im sure they wont give me a refund, not that I care about the money that much, I care waaaay more than they damaged my skin. Ughhh any sugestions???
