I am sorry all these things are happening to you all at once! I would just try to think and say to myself "everything is happening now so that we have a smooth and worry free wedding day". Just try to think all the kinks are getting worked out now in other ways and not on your big day!

Yikes! At least your dog gets some mashed taters to go with the chicken. So sorry all this is happening to you. My question is about the speeding ticket. Is it costing you anything to delay your honeymoon? Lost deposit, cancellation fees, etc. If so...does it cost you more to stay and contest the ticket than to just pay up and go on your honeymoon? Is there any way you can apply for diversion and avoid having it go on your insurance so all you have to pay is your fine and the court costs? Hope everything gets better for you!

@ ehh- We aren't delaying the honeymoon we are going to call and ask for a continuance. We are hoping at the very least we will be able to just pay the fine and court costs and avoid any points on my license, which is why we need to go to court. If I really thought I was speeding I would take it with grace and pay it, but I really don't think I was going that fast.
Oh my goodness a whole chicken! Along with feeling sympathy for you, I am also slightly impressed with your dog! I really hope she doesn't need surgery, but that she learns her lesson when it's time for that chicken to come out!

This is just a vent. Thanks all!
I really hope that our bad luck ends by the wedding next week. All these things happening by themselves wouldn't be such a bad thing but combined with wedding stress has made me want to curl up in the corner and eat my hair. Monday our bank wouldn't deposit our checks from FMIL and FI's grandma, which resulted in me driving to my hometown to get them cashed. On that drive I ended up getting a ticket, 38 in a 25 but get this I was almost a mile out of town into a 55mph zone when he pulled me over. So FI says we are going to contest it, but the court date is during our honeymoon so now we have to push that back. Then yesterday FI got rear-ended, his truck is fine and everything it was just more of a shock to him. Also yesterday while we were out the cat knocked over the trash which allowed the dog to eat a whole roasted chicken. So we rushed her to the vet, who confirmed that she did indeed eat it and that it was so recent that there was nothing we could do but wait and see. All we could do is feed her mashed potatoes all night (waking up every 2 hours) to help make the bones pass and make sure she wasn't acting uncomfortable. We have to go back this afternoon to see if she needs surgery. It's just been a bad week so far and I just hope that it gets better.
