My mom recently told me that her morning sickness was the same with all 10 kids, but that when she was preggo with my brothers (7) she knew that she was having a boy because she didn’t have to shave her legs as much. Whereas with me and my sisters she had to shave her legs every day.

Im sure it’s just an old wives tale. I had no morning sickness and had a girl. According to all the old wives tales I was supposed to have a boy. Lol

I had bad bad MS. Like throwing up in parking lots and running for garbages in stores (lol I always told my FI to make sure to let all the strangers around me, that I will never see again, that i was not hung over, but in fact pregnant! hhaaha) and I had a boy. I was really hoping for a girl so I was really excited to be sick! Haha

I had horrible MS and had a girl. My mom, on the other hand, had zero sickness with me… I don’t think there’s anything to that old wive’s tale!

@the_newlymintedmrs-s17:  it depends on the person. I did have awful Ms and am having a girl but I know plenty of people with boys who had it bad too. Congrats! Hope you feel better soon!

This can be true but remember every baby and every mother is different, as is every pregnancy. One thing that is true is you have a higher rate of horomones carrying a girl This can contribute to higher morning sickness, more asthma issues, more moodyness etc. However as stated every pregnancy, woman, and baby is different.

i threw up from 6 to 35 weeks, and my little girl is due tomorrow, but I have a super sensitive stomach, so I wasn’t surprised.

@the_newlymintedmrs-s17:  Well really that’s an old wives tale, but it was true for me. I had 3 boys and 2 girls. Only with the 2 girls was I horribly sick and anemic, but never with the boys.
