I finally had to speak to them last night because they continue to let their little dog run to my front yard to do it’s business. We’ve stepped in sh*t several times. She apologized but I know this behaviour will not stop! I don’t know what to do next as talking to the city and police haven’t done a thing. Help bees!

I’d probably pick it up and put it in a bag on her porch, lol.

@VikingPrincess: Next time tiny comes over to drop a deuce, you’re there to blast him with some air horn, that dog will NEVER wanna crap near your house again!

@Nona99: hahaha! I’ve also looked at getting a Scarecrow motion sensor but I don’t want to spend the money!

Have you tried googling “dog repellant?” Could be worth a shot.

@Westwood: I second the porch poo idea.

@VikingPrincess: I’ve told this story before on this board, but I once was faced with a similar situation. My backyard neighbour actually had the gall to scoop up his dog’s poop and throw it over the fence into my yard. Despite my confronting him about this behavior, it continued.
I decided on an alternative strategy. I lined a cardboard box with a plastic bag, and placed all the droppings into it until the bag was full. When it was full, I wet down all the contents to make it nice and soft and smelly, sealed the box, addressed it to him and left it on his front porch as if it might have been a delivery. The card attached said ” I think this belongs to you.”
He never threw dog poop into my yard again. I just wish I could have seen his face when he opened the box!

@julies1949: Hahaha, that is AMAZING.
I also like the blow horn idea.
But mostly the poop on their porch.

Our neighbor does this too. It drives me batty. FI is always joking that he’s going to go over there one night, drop trow and poop on their porch himself.
@julies1949: That’s brilliant I have to say.

You won’t believe it but I got home and the dog was at the next house over! I chased it back home. I was like are you kidding me? The effing day after I talked to you about this! I kept calm but omg this is ridiculous!

My neighbors open their door and let the dog out. The sketchy little bastard always skulks over and shits on our lawn. It’s disgusting. A couple neighbors have told the neighbors to leash their dog, but they haven’t changed. I think I’ll snap a pic of the dog off its leash and then show it to the police. Maybe that would light a fire under my neighbor’s ass…

Tell them you’re very concerned for their dog because you’ve covered your lawn with very toxic chemicals…

@hidingmyface: Ughhhhh! So annoying and gross! I have a dog and I always pick up after it! Stepping in crap is awful!

I saw a “neighbor” who lives 3 houses down let their dog crap in my yard. I scooped it up into a bag, walked down the street to their house, rang the doorbell, and told her she forgot something… I live right by a high school, and I am seriously so sick of picking up other peoples garbage and dogs’ poop…
