You could try airbrush makeup:

http://www.airbrushmakeup.com/personal/

Their cheapest kit is about $160 but it could help you a lot as it isn’t just used facially but can be used for a skin scars and you can use it any day of the year and just buy refill makeup.  I am also sure it could cover up your scars because there is even a video on how it can cover up tatoos and it literally shows show a full arm tattoo becomes practically invisible so I’m sure it could cover up scars.  The specific makeup used to cover up tattoos is the same as that for deep scarring, burns etc (stated on their website) so you could use the foundation/blush (etc) that is specific for that to have full coverage (you can check out their range of makeup and you will see the specialized range).

I don’t have the kit myself so I cannot tell you how good it is, but I am considering buying a kit (more for fun than anything).

I hope this helps Smile, I hope you feel as beautiful in your wedding as I am sure you are and I’m sorry that you feel so insecure about your skin this option would allow you to wear a stapless dress (or with straps) without being noticeable (or could use it on your face instead).  I’m glad you’ve found a solution though, just thought I give my two cents for you or anyone else who is going through that.  Smile

I had bad acne as a teen and early 20s. i also have pock marks and mild hyperpigmentation. there is special makeup called medical makeup. also try dermablend makeup. they sell it at sephora and places like that. its medical grade makeup that can cover conditions such as vitaligo and port wine stain. its a pretty small container…like .5 oz. but a pea sized amount is good enough for your whole face. go to the website and u can see different ppl with different skin conditions before and after.

Have you been to a dermatologist? Acne can be managed.

@junebride2014:  Could you save up for it? I am in Canada so I don’t know how much these things cost without insurance. I would totally save up for it if it’s not prohibitively expensive. Maybe it’s just me, but I would think that having healthy skin would trump almost anything else that you could spend your money on.

try glytone spray, you can get it on amazon for $20… it’s awesome!! it’s worth a try, I love it and I thought I would be self conscious on my wedding day, and honestly, it never crossed my mind!

Hi There,

I used to suffer from acne scars on my cheeks due to hormonal cystic acne because of PCOS however, i stopped using cleansers and use only make up wipes for sensitive skin, and then apply organic rose hip oil and it has actually prevented acne, my skin is now clear and the scars have faded AND my skin tone has improved significantly,

Add this to your skin care i promise you will never go back – best part is its about $10 a bottle!

@junebride2014:  Ummm. Don’t do a detox right before your wedding. I’ve done one once, it was a juice clease type-thing, and for about 3 weeks afterwards I had the most horrible skin. The point of a detox is that all thr bad stuff comes out of your body (usually in the form of acne).

If you are going to do one, make sure its a month or more beforehand, and then stick to eating clean food up until the big day.
