Bad time to look for a new job??

I would say wait until after you move. If you make any changes at all now involving employment, it will hurt your chances of getting a mortgage. And if you do get approved, you might not get approved for as much. 

If it was me, I would wait until after you move.

oh thank you for asking this!

DH and I just got new jobs about 3 months ago and while he loves his, I am a little indifferent about mine and want to switch if I find something better… HOWEVER, if that is going to hurt my prospects for a mortgage, I guess I can wait.

ugh its annoying to feel stuck in your everyday because of the desires of your “someday”

I don’t think it matters as long as you have good credit and a healthy enough saving to put 15-20% down.

Plus, the mortgage will be in BOTH of your names rights? Since your FI works too, I think you should be fine.

If your BF doesn’t have stable, year-round employment, I would definitely wait until after you get the new mortgage to get a new job!
