I've always loved the way they look, but of course not the price!  Lately, I've been thinking I might splurge a little and buy some to treat myself.  I wouldn't wear them for the wedding, but maybe for a shower or rehearsal...but before I spend lots of money:

    Are they comfortable?

I'm thinking about buying the Badgley Mischka Dusk heels right now.

Im a big shoe person.  I love shoes, have almost 100 pairs. But BM shoes to me, are uncomfortable like no other.  I can't even wear them in the store while trying them on.  I wear heels a lot so I hope I'm nott he only person who feel this way.

That was definately one of my short list shoes!  I love it.

I bought Odyssey for my wedding shoes and some black peep-toe pumps for my rehearsal.  They were both as comfy as 4" heels get.  I think that the comfort was mostly about the small platform up front that lessened the heel angle and took some of the pressure off the balls of my feet.  I don't know if the dusk would feel similar.

I'm with MASPA, I love heels and I can wear them all night long without issue but BM shoes are remarkably uncomfortable.

I wish I could say they were comfortable :( I bought some BM Oakes online as my splurge but once I got them it was clear that they were not "the" shoes for me. I still love them but I took them to my first fitting and had to take them on within 5 minutes of standing on the platform with them. I ended up going with some yellow wedges instead. Sorry!

I wore BM Hyde for my wedding. They weren't the most comfortable shoes in the world that day. BUT...I hadn't broken them in well enough.

After a few more wears, I was able to wear them all evening with little discomfort.

HOWEVER, that particular shoe...Dusk...I bought and returned those. The vamp is cut pretty low and squeezes your foot at an uncomfortable spot.

I disagree with some of the PPs; I voted that they're comfortable, although comfort is obviously a relative term! I bought the BM's 'Randee' style in Nude for my wedding and have worn them around the house to try to break them in. I actually find that they're very comfortable given their height, which I think stems from the substantial platform. I must say that I've tried on other styles by BM and found them quite uncomfortable (bad luck with 'Xavier' and and couldn't even walk in 'Dusk'), so it might just depend on the style.

I've only tried on one or two pairs of badgley mischka heels, but they were the most uncomfortable shoes I've tried on. Sure, cheap-o heels will probably rub more and hurt worse in the long run because of bad fit and design, etc, but the BM heels I tried were awful - I felt like I was standing on ski boots... you know how they make you tilt forward? I just could not stand at all. I was so sad, too, because their heels are adoreable!

I got the BM Randalls my wedding... I can wear them around the house for about an hour before they're too uncomfortable. But, I also rarely wear heels. I guess they might just end up being photo shoes.

awww...bummer!!  I was really wanting to buy some! lol

Well, I'm looking for something with a closed toe.  It's going to be chilly for our rehearsal dinner, and I don't look good in boots, so I was trying to find some closed toe nude/light pink/light gold/beige heels.  I don't have my outfit yet...I was wanting to find the shoes first. LOL!

Any recommendations?  Designers I should try?  I don't want to spend more than $150 if I don't have to.
