Today, I decided to start a light-hearted topic after suffering a tiny bit of bashing yesterday over my lack of “proper wedding etiquette.”
I ordered three pairs of Badgley Mischka shoes two days ago. Amazon is, of course, my best friend/website, so I paid for the one-day shipping, and received all three beauties yesterday. It took every ounce of willpower in me not to rip the boxes open at work. Instead, I waited until I got home, and until my mom came over to be my fashion consultant.
When I tell you that two out of the three of them are beautiful, I’m not doing them justice. They are saliva-inducing, stop-you-in-your-tracks, my-goodness-they’re-sparkly, I’d-sell-an-organ-to-afford-them GORGEOUS!!! They’re everything feminine and sweet and wonderful.
So…here comes the dilemma: do I keep both? If not, how do I choose which pair? One is perfectly matched to my wedding gown. The other, more sparkly pair, has the perfect amount of shimmer and pop to be a show-stopping reception shoe.
Did any of you other bees struggle with getting your shoe choice down to just one? If so, where did you cut corners to make that happen?

I say keep them both! lol I’m not a good influence! I also struggled with Badgley Misckha. I wound up with a pair in deep rose and I love them. I have over 6 months to go but I keep taking them out of the box to look at them. Even had my nails polished a couple of weeks ago a color that was similar so into the closet I went to comparet then told my nail tech to keep that bottle in her drawer for my wedding pedicure. Again I say wear them both! Post pics!!!

If you can afford to keep them both, then keep them both! I love Bagdley Mischka shoes. I had a hard time picking my shoe, much harder than picking my wedding dress even! So I totally understand how difficult it is to pick just one shoe. I ended up going with the shoe that was the most comfortable since I would be in them all day long. And I have no regrets.

Keep both then! Use the ones that match your dress better for the ceremony and rock the sparkly ones for the reception! Woohoo!

@conkin420: OMG!!! You read my mind. I was wondering if it was silly to try to get nail polish to match the shoes. I have 10 months to go, but am completely CONSUMED by wedding planning.
@yellowshoe: I LOVED my dress from the moment I put it on. I had a brief bout of dress regret, but once I was over that, I was golden. The shoe thing, though, just has me struggling. It’s so hard choosing between the two pairs because they’re both Bridesmaid or Best Man, and a pretty similar style. One pair does have a slight platform, though, so maybe I should go with those.
@chillyteddy: Hahaha….can you convince the wife that I deserve two pairs of shoes, please?
