kiki83:  I’ve bought two pairs of Badgley’s, I’m a size 6.5 and they seem to fit true to size for me. I can’t comment on the vanilla color because I bought both of my shoes in their emerald green  You’re dress is beautiful btw and either shoe you pick is going to look great! You should check the website you’re planning on buying the shoes from because you may be able to return/exchange them if you’re not happy.

I ordered my Badgleys online as well.  Strange thing is, they fit differently between styles.. IMO.  I’m in Canada and NO WHERE near me carried them.  So on a trip to Minneapolis I stopped in a store that carried them.  Tried on a few different styles, one similiar to one you have there, one with ruffles and a plain one.  I’m a 6.5 in most shoes, sometimes, if the toe is narrow I will take a 7.  In the store, for each pair, I felt both a 6.5 or a 7 would work.  They seemed to fit the exact same.  Didn’t like the styles they had so tried to find a place to order online.

Fast forward.  I ordered the Thora, and I thought I should go with a 7.  I’m having a summer wedding so I might be hot and my feet might swell a little bit.  Plus I had tried the shoes in Feb when it was freezing cold out, so I thought why not be a bit bigger than too tight.  Zappos doesnt ship to Canada, so I had to ship it to the border and a friend who was going there to pick things up, and they picked up my shoes too.  I get them… and they are much too big.  Like my pinky could fit behind the heel and a bit more. Made nooo sense to me.  I was so upset, spent $25 shipping them back from Canada (as Zappos has free returns but not from Canada).  Then I had to reorder and the 6.5 came and fit perfectly.

I don’t want to give you wrong advice.  I’m sure each style maybe runs a bit different.  If you are normally a 6 I’d order that, but again, it could just be the style I bought!

Zappos has free shipping and returns. You can order two sizes and return one.

I bought a pair of navy blue Susans and they were 100% dead on in size. I’ll tell u this, if u don’t get a pair with a good size platform, they will hurt if u wear them a long time or if u are not accustomed to higher heels like that. Mine were 4 in with an outer 1/2 platform and even after weeks of bring broken in, they hurt on the wedding day.

I got the Lacies for my wedding and based on reviews I ordered them a half size up. I was glad I did, my size would have been too small. I did the same with a different pair of Bagdleys. I cant coment on the color though, the two pairs I have are navy and purple.

kiki83:  Sorry I didn’t comment about color!

I tried the vanilla in store.  It was nice, a natural, but for me, too goldy-beige if that makes any sense.  The girl said they were popular though.  They also only had 3 colours… white, ivory and vanilla 🙂

As for zappos, they won’t ship to Canada.  I was going to order through Macys, and if you wait for a sale, you might get a good deal even with the $50 shipping.

Oh, try amazon.com.   They may charge huge for shipping, but on a $200 pair I got $32 refunded a month after they arrived as the duty didn’t cost as much as they expected!

kiki83:  I’d suggest ordering the size up as you can always use an insole to size it down a bit.  I love your dress!!!
