    He Bees, I'm looking for some help with wedding bands what do you all think?

    I am either going to go for a plain platinum band to go with my engagement ring (I love it so much and I really want to show it off)

    or I would LOVE a baguette cut diamond band to go with my emerald cuts although I am struggling to find any platinum ones online! (Wouldn't be able to afford a whole diamond ring it would have to be a half or a thrid diamond I am also afraid this may distract from the engagement ring)

    The other option would be to get a platinum band to save money and get an eternity full baguette cut ring down the line at some point.

    what do you think? Here is my engagement ring

    I think a baguette band would be beautiful.  I have seem some where the emerald cut diamonds were turned sideways which would mean less diamonds, less $ and it would compliment your ring without taking away from it.  I tried to look one up but I can't remember where I've seen them before.

    I think an eternity band will distract too much from your engagement ring.  I think a half eternity or plain band would look nice.

    I got my baguette band off overstock, you can see it in this pic. I also included a better pic off overstock, and the link

    I had a hard time because my baguettes are horizontal in the setting, instead of vertical, like most. I love how it looks with my ering (wish I had a closer up pic of the ering, but its 3 stone and then the baguettes are long the side

    "Kelmac" has a very similar Emerald cut ERing and has a beautiful 5 stone, prong set princess band.  See pics of her set on the message thread :"3 stone mommas".  It might give you a good idea. :)

    I know exactly how you feel.  I have an three stone emerald cut diamond engagement ring, and I wanted a wedding band with baguettes to go with it. I didn't have the problem of looking for platinum, because mine is white gold. But I did have a problem in that I wanted the band to have a slight curve to hug my engagement so whtere wouldn't ber a gap.

    Like you, I didn't want any princess cut diamonds. The saleman suggested them, because princess and emerald both have straight sides instead of round.  But I thought the princess cut took away from the elegant beauty of the step cut Emerald cut.

    We finally found exactly what I wanted. It's a wrap, so it hugs both sides of my e-ring, and it is baguettes. It's not an eternity band, but that's not what I wanted anyway.

    Here's a picture. I don't think the band takes way from my e-ring at all.

    @MrsK2be:

    It looks lovely! matches so well I really like it.

    Although I'm not really a prong fan on smaller diamonds I was trying to get something to blend in with the sides stones on mine I don't know how they are set does anyone know what the setting is called? I guess it is not a channel?

    @amybee444:  Thank you! I think my rings are pretty unique. I've never seen any others like them. The amazing part is they aren't a set. We bought them separately at different stores.

    I don't mind sharing what we paid.  All together, we paid a little over $4,000.  The retail price of them all togther was a little under $5,700.  So I'm proud, we got some pretty good deals.
