Where are you planning on having it in the Bahamas?
hi! we are getting married (in 2 weeks) at the Wyndham resort next to the Sheraton. They have gazebo's and boardwalks over the water so that you don't have to get married on the beach. Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are in 3 different gazebo's all within walking distance of one another.
We chose Sandals Royal Bahamian, so fair it's been a breeze. They give you choises of Martha Stuart wedding package and one is free if you stay 6 nights or more. You can add to the free one as well.
Look at The Poop Deck at Sandy Port, Beach Club Cafe and the Bob Marley Resort as well. I've been to all these places and more and done the research and have pictures if you need help
I have stayed at the Royal Bahamian and it is amazing! I saw many weddings there and they all looked wonderful!!!
The first time I got married, I got married in the bahamas. I got married at the Ocean Club, at their 12th-century Augustinian cloisters, that over look Nassau Harbor. We then had the reception at the Atlantis. If you were interested in information on any of it send me a message and I would be glad to help you out and even send you pictures.
The Poop Deck at Sandyport is amazing. It's a little hidden jem.
Ohh!! Cloisters is my fav place in PI. Soo romantic and different from the normal touristy places! @Maia please let me know if you need help with vendors... I know a few places I can recommend!

We are planning a wedding in Bahamas at the end of this year.
Any rec's?
I am looking at Sheraton, Atlantis and Riu. I would prefer the ceremony to not
be on the beach, but in a gazebo or something.
Cocktail hour on the beach and then the reception in an outdoor setting that is covered.
So all this needs to be walking distance or close to each other.
Any help or advice would be appreciated!
