Awww, I can't see the photo but I'm sure it looks awesome!
Good for you! Chicken is my hubby's favorite. He jokes we must consume half the chickens in the world in a month!
I'm so impressed. I've been too scared to try it! Maybe this will inspire me. Your photo is just appearing as a black square, though.
Post the pic again! Did you use a recipe? Link it up! I'd love to make a whole chicken!
Thanks everyone! I was so excited and proud of myself.
@Soon2beeMrsM: I set he stove to 350. I just took out the insides, and gave them to my furbaby as a treat. I then placed it (covered) , breast side up, in the baking pan and added 2 inches of chicken broth to the bottom of the pan. I rubbed the breast side of the bird with butter and placed some underneath the skin. I seasoned it with lemon pepper, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper, and Mrs. Dash (alternately). I basted it every 30 minutes. It rinsed off some of the seasoning everytime, so I applied one of the above after every basting. Uncover for the last thirty minutes. It took 2 full hours to be done.
I don't know what's wrong with the pic. How else can I upload it?

I did it!! I baked my first whole chicken on last night. It wasn't even hard. basting it every 30 minutes was kind of annoying though. It made it very moist, so it had to be done.
I paired it with roasted rosemary potatoes and fresh garlic broccoli.
Someone told me that I'm actually a wife now. LOL
