I tried them, and I think I did something wrong. After chilling them, when I picked them up - the sticks lifted right out of the balls! It ruined all of them. :(

I did it too but I just threw away the sticks and just did them like "pop-ems"

I didn't like them too much the day I made them, but 3 days later they taste better. I wish I had half the creativity she has.

anybody have tips for getting the sticks to stay in? I want to make some of these for the un-birthday party I'm throwing J and I (we're not together on either of our birthdays this year :( so we're going to celebrate halfway between them while I'm in DC visiting him. He just doesn't know it yet), and want them to be perfect, haha.

I love bakerella! I made a bunch of Cowgirl cookie mixes for Christmas this year as gifts.

I recently tried the cake ball recipe myself... um ew, ew, ew! They were waaay too mushy for my liking. Next time I'll use 1/2 the amount of icing. :)

Try dipping the sticks in chocolate/icing before you put them in. The chocolate/icing should adhere the stick to the inside. Also, when you lift the cake balls off of the cookie sheet, don't use the sticks to pick them up. If you put parchment paper on the cookie sheet first, it should help the balls not stick to the pan.
