Not for our honeymoon, but we went to Bali, and if you want, quiet, low key, off the beaten path, I'd recommend the island of Nusa Lembongan. it's a mostly local community that does seaweed farming, but its very relaxed, and cheap too, even the resorts
of course, if you want the nightlife and the parties and the big city, it's better to stay in the main island

I am really fortunate (and unfortunate) that I travel for work. So right now I am sitting on 600K frequent flier miles. I can go anywhere in the world roundtrip first class (except for Tahiti becuase Star Alliance doesnt fly there :((((((( ) and spend all the money for the honeymoon on hotel and food. So I think we've settled on Bali. Looking for a really romantic beach honeymoon - we dont get a lot of time together. Want private, yet want to have a pool and bar and a place that wont close up at 830pm. Anyone have any experience w Bali?
