I went dress shopping and fell in love with Pronovias Georiga and her gorgeous full train. Its everything I’ve ever wanted in a dress. I am having a custom version because I want a color that isn’t offered and in dupioni silk.
But I’m looking for pictures of how to bustle a gown with such a lovely long train. Any help?

From what I can tell, it looks like a long train but not too much detail on it. It should be easy for your seamstress to do. I used to do bridal alterations. You could either do a traditional, classic bustle on the top of the skirt with hooks and eyes, so it attaches near the seam in the waistline. Otherwise, you could do French/under bustles with ribbons and ties underneath the skirt. Both would look beautiful with your dress. Really just depends on your preference.

@angelalsmith3: Thanks! Are you talking about a ballroom bustle?

My train was pretty long and I had a French bustle.

@taraesque: I had an incredibly long train and had a seven point bustle put in and it stayed in all night and looked great. It was a relatively simple process with a color coding system for easy doing.
