Bride2Bee2015:  i think the draping could work. and would make it look more wedding-ish. 

I was thinking of putting the drapes hotizontally (wall to wall) but in between the lights – is this what you mean? 

Can your venue provide draping?

I don’t have any experience in it, but I was looking at a venue (ballroom/conference room at a hotel) and they have some pictures posted on their facebook of the draping that they do. It’s probably not what you wanted, but I’m sure you can modify it to make it your own. The hotel has the same type of ceiling as in your picture, so I assume you can do something similar, but with nicer draping material.

Bride2Bee2015:  These are facebook photos posted by the hotel. See below for the hotel’s facebook link, which includes the hotel contact info. You should contact their Director of Sales, Brenda Zirkle. She might be able to explain how the hotel set it up. She’s really nice, so hopefully she is willing to help you out.
