Hey ladies,
I wrote a post a couple hours ago trying to get a big meetup in the next few months, http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/who-wants-to-have-a-nice-big-meetup-md-wv-va-pa-etc, but am also looking to do a Baltimore area meetup sooner than that. Who's in??
Yay, I was starting to get a little bummed! We can figure out what day is best for everyone who wants to come and then also figure out where is best to meet

Hmm,I was going to say the first weekend of Sept, but that's labor day weekend, unless you gals are up for it
Also, I was thinking of Little Havana in Federal Hill. They have a brunch menu that is $15 a person, and bottomless drinks. http://www.littlehavanas.com/menus/brunch.pdf
But, it would have to be on a Sunday if we do Little Havana brunch, FYI. I'm open to anything though, just a suggestion!
@MrsSl82be: I could try. It all depends on what last minute stuff we have leading up to the wedding. Or I should say how much I am able to get done between now and then...lol.

Little Havana is a great pick! They get PACKED though on Sundays, especially during football season. We would have to get there early.
@Aubergold: When I told my FI about this meetup, he said, "You want to do what? With who? ... ... ...Well, if you think it's a good idea..." haha
Me me me me! And you all are welcome to crash our wedding, we have to pay for 50 minimum and will have about 40...

@RahlyRah: I wasn't thinking about it being football season. Like I said, I'm open to a different date and place, if people want to suggest something else. We could try something kind of in between Baltimore and DC, so the DC bees could come as well? Just a thought...

I went to an awesome bachelorette a few weeks ago in Baltimore, we went to some Tapas restaurant - it was gorgeous! and would make for a nice meet up (although a bit pricey)

There are a few tapas places, and personally, I would prefer to stay out of the Inner Harbor if we can. Things are pretty pricey there, when you can go 5 minutes down the road and get the same or better stuff for cheaper. Just my experience anyway.
We also have to think about parking, so it might be better to get out of the city and into the county somewhere...
Ramshead is in between and they have great food and drinks. I have been there many a time to party. It has indoor and outdoor seating.
@Storm0075: That is a damn fine idea! I didn't realize there was a Rams Head in Savage. Do you think they would have a large football crowd? Or maybe doing it on a Saturday and not a SUnday would alleviate that?
@MrsSl82be: I have never been there during the day so I have no idea... You could always call and ask.
I just realized how bad that sounded! I am not a habitual partier I promise! Just because I have gotten drunk there a few times...lol. And there is a dining area and a bar area so football crowd would most likely be in the basement.

If you wanted to stay in Baltimore and still wanted to do a Sunday, Canton would probably be better than Fed Hill. Fed Hill gets packed because it is so close to the stadium. Canton has better parking too! Field House is pretty big and has lots of room to sit. They also have corn hole on the patio!
I'd be interested, though my schedule is crazy right now! I'm subscribing to this thread so I can stay in the loop! I live north of the city now but still work downtown... Canton, Fed Hill, and Annapolis are all fine with me.
Just so you ladies know, the Ravens opening game in on September 11th and it's a home game against the Steelers so I would avoid downtown anywhere that day, lol! Oh, and it's a mid-day game, 2 PM
@aheavel: thanks for the heads up!! I dont' follow football, so I had no idea. Its going to be hell in the city if they are home AND playing the Steelers!!
It's a good thing I am getting married on Saturday and not Sunday or half of the people coming would not be there...lol. My family is huge Ravens fans.

Ok ladies....I have not heard anything for a few days.... Are we still looking to get together next weekend? I found out that I have off Fri and Mon for the holiday so I am game for Sunday!
