That's a really neat idea. Love the picture. Have you just googled bamboo poles? I got several results there, including Forever Bamboo. They say to call to order, but they offer 5 and 10 foot poles.
Yeah, I've googled "Bamboo Poles"
And "Bamboo Poles Wedding"
And "Bamboo poles/beach/ribbon/wedding/ribbons waving in the wind during a wedding Google is driving me crazy just give me a picture that I want". .... sorry....a little frustrated.
I know I can buy the bamboo on several sites, and have found some for free through Craigslist, but I just really want a good picture of a ceremony that used this idea. Thanks for the help!

Hey...I hadn't thought of that. Although I don't have photoshop, I've done some crazy great stuff with the crappy photo editor I have...or I could draw it.
Thanks vistagirl! Such simplicity....and yet it was way over my head!
I know I've looked too for this idea. I saw a similar picture some where online and saved it to my personal wedding file on my computer somewhere, it's lost amongst the other billion pictures I've saved. I'd love to share them with you if I can find them, unfortunatley I don't remeber, nor did I anotate, the sources. Give me a few hours to look.

Hey everyone! I'm planning a small beach wedding next summer, and I was hoping for some help here:
I would like to have several bamboo poles with ribbons streaming in the breeze either lining the "aisle" or in a circle around the area.
I was wondering if anyone has done this, has similar ideas, or if anyone knows where I can find pictures of this or similar. I'm having a hard time convincing FI of the idea without pictures. I keep searching, and all I can seem to find are bamboo arches. I don't want to have an arch, just the poles. I can only find this one picture! (Since it's only the poles, I was kinda looking for a pic with more of the ceremony site - a bit more of the finished area).
