Weddingbee boards

Hi, all.

We were meant to be having a ceilidh at our reception (traditional celtic dancing, with a caller to tell you the steps), but they emailed me today to say they only just realised they double-booked... and the wedding is in 3 weeks time. I'm ever-so-slightly annoyed, and more than a little upset. I am going to try to find another ceilidh band to take over, but I don't fancy our chances so close to the date, so I'm looking at alternatives.

I really don't want the usual 'pop music' dancing thing, so will maybe try to get in a tango/salsa/etc instructor to do a lesson and then have people dance mostly to that style of music for the rest of the evening. Failing that, I'm looking for ideas for entertainment at a fairly formal, indoor, evening reception (after a sit-down dinner), but with a fun group of people who wouldn't mind playing silly games etc (but NOT karaoke). There will be around 70 guests.

I'm thinking e.g. hiring a magician/making and playing a giant game of Twister/maybe some party games that extend to 70 people, but I'm struggling somewhat. It needs to be failry easy to organise, since we are so short of time. I don't think we'd be able to get in table football/air hockey/casino games etc.
