@carlypaige:  I’m having my engagement ring custom made in 14krose gold, and it would be the exact same price if in 14 kwhite gold. I think $1500 is a lot for a band, but lots of people do it! What’s your engagement ring like? i’ve read a lot about 3row pave bands damaging engagement rings with the rubbing.

WBands, like ERings can be all over the map price wise… some of the same elements come into play

What type of Metal – Gold (what percentage)

Gemstones – Synthetics – or Diamonds

And then how many, and what type of setting.

I have 2 WBands… one Plain & one Sparkly.

The “sparkly” one came from Peoples (Zales name in Canada).  It is listed as a 1/2 Carat (albeit that the guaranteed “range” ie 0.45 to 0.58 ctw) GIA Certified Canadian Diamond 14 Kt White Gold Half-Eternity Channel Set 3 mm Band set with 10 Round Brilliant Diamonds (in my case each approx 0.055 carats) of a Very Good Cut, F Colour, I Clarity.  The cost just before last Christmas on sale was $ 1000 CDN (regular price is $ 1200 CDN)

My plain band came from Zales in the USA.  It is listed as being a 14 Kt White Gold 2.5 mm Domed / Round Comfort Fit.  The cost just before Christmas was $ 200 US

As I have 2 WBands, I have the option to mix & match them with my ERing…  or wear them alone or together.  Great for the new stackable trend… and also means I ALWAYS have a ring I can wear no matter what I do… when I don’t want to endanger my Diamonds (Home Renovations – Painting – Gardening – Deep Cleaning – Baking / Kneading Dough – Working Out – Snorkelling & Water Sports – and Travelling to Third World Countries).

I absolutely L♥VE my WBands as they “match” one another (just that one is sparkly) and they go so well with my ERing as well… wouldn’t have it any other way

PHOTO – My 2 WBands worn together (as a stackable option)

Hope this helps,

@carlypaige: I bought 2 wedding bands to go on either side of my engagement ring. They are Beverly K eternity bands, white gold, approx .3 carats each. They were about$2100 for the set (including tax)

ETA: I did get 20% off though because the rings in the case fit me and I didn’t need to order them.

@carlypaige:  I found a really elegant, simple diamond and sapphire ring yesterday that I love.  I was thrilled to find out it was only $500 too. LOL I plan on having two bands a sapphire or sapphire/diamond and then my great grandmothers as my other

I believe mine was 1,400 for a half carat 3/4 pave eternity band. Could have gotten a better deal but we luked the idea of having it from the same store and designer.

Hmmm… I think it’s really gonna depend on the style/type of band you’re looking for- they’re kind of all over the map price-wise, just like e-rings are.

Mine has 1/2 cttw of princess-cut channel-set diamonds in 14k white gold, and was $1200, after discount:
