Anyone have suggestions for non-thong underwear that reduce or get rid of visible panty lines? I bought some work slacks today, and I feel like my underwear show through all of them. I am a teacher. The children of America don’t need to see that.

Boy shorts with longer legs!

I find those cheeky or boy shorts of thin material do work well.
Or just no undies 😉

How come you don’t like thongs? I couldn’t wear my work pants without them.

Rubbs: I don’t like thongs either. They’re super uncomfortable.
I usually wear underwear with lace around the seams. They seem to do okay. Super thin seamless ones work better, but they don’t usually come in cotton.

It depends on the material of the thong. I’ve noticed soft spandex ones are fantastic. Wear a size UP from your normal panty size and you’ll find them a bit more comfortable I bet.

Anyway, you could always try boy shorts or a pair of spandex biking shorts.

I’ve never found a pair of non thongs that are invisible, particularly when bending over. Thongs are just a part of professional life, like dress shoes.

I get the no show hiphuggers from Victoria’s Secret and I never have VPL in dress pants, jeans, yoga pants, scrubs… anything. Even bending over.

I personally go with boyshort panties as you just never see the panty line with where they sit… I also find them so much more comfy than your regular panty!

I guess I should try one of everything until I find something that works 🙂 Some thongs are comfy, but most i have tried are not. And it sounds weird, but I feel weird around 5th-8th graders in a thong. It just seems so…naughty. LOL.

Buy thicker trousers or wear darker colors or buy a size larger and wear a belt. I never have issues with pantylines under my work trousers and I rarely wear thongs. Plus, unless you’re teaching high schoolers (and some mature middle schoolers), the kids aren’t likely spending a lot of time looking at your butt.

Before you nix thongs entirely, try a new brand. I live in my Hanky Pankys. I love them. LOVE. And I hated thongs before I tried them.
