We used Weaver’s Fresh Cut Flowers for our wedding last weekend. Price-wise, they were a DREAM and the flowers turned out lovely. Normally their prices are even lower than what we paid, but our wedding was before bloom season, so we couldn’t buy any of their home-grown flowers. (This was devastating, because apparently they grow amazing peonies.) We paid $520 for 8 table bouquets, 1 large bridal bouquet, 5 bridesmaid bouquets (which doubled as table bouquets), 6 boutonnieres, cake-topper flowers and 65 loose flowers. Obviously, an amazing deal. It’s worth noting we bought all of our own ribbon and vases; we found large, glass food-storage jars from Ikea at a great price.
I will say, having to communicate solely in-person or via snail-mail definitely takes a toll. We did the 70-minute drive on three separate occassions, and while Mr. and Mrs. Weaver are gracious and accomodating, sometimes I’d get nervous with their chicken-scratch notes and seemingly disorganized filing system. The flowers weren’t *exactly* what I had envisioned, color-wise (I had printed several photos for their reference), but they were beautifully arranged and absolutely on par with what I’ve seen from professional florists. All in all, it was a VERY smart choice for a budget-conscious bride!
