@cmarti45: Bari Jay bridesmaid dresses were way too big, their size chart is way off in our opinion. Customer service was terrible, I would not recommend them.
i agree that it seemed the size charts were a little off (they suggested an 8 for my friend who normally wears a 2), BUT when they came in, it fit decently with only minimal/normal alterations needed.... I mean almost everyone has to get the length altered on these dresses anyway, so my BMs didn't see it as a huge deal to get the sides taken in a tad. The dresses came in about 10 weeks after we ordered them, and everything was correct as ordered. The quality was excellent, so I would recommend them based solely off my experience... (No one I've known used them before, so I can't say other than my own experience.)
I wore one for my cousins wedding, and am using them for mine. I never had a problem, and I think the dresses are generally priced really well! I'm having my girls order from weddingshoppeinc.com. They can measure themselves/go to stores and try on the sample sizes to get their sizes and the prices are unbeatable and include free shipping!
All my girls went down at least one size based on the biggest size from their measurement. Surprisingly, that size was all based on their waist, even for the ones with big hips. The dresses weren't fitted in the waist, and I think they choose the right size. They had to be taken in a bit, but going 2 sizes smaller would have been too small (as one girl who did this had to have the top of it let out a bit).
When the dresses arrived, 2 were missing a small amount of stitching, but the store fixed them in about 10 minutes. On the day of all the girls looked great!
Hi all, can you tell me price range of Bari Jay bridesmaid dresses. also, if their chiffon quality is good?
@bump: My girls paid around $230 for this dress with tax (not including alterations).

The chiffon isn't the GREATEST. But it is acceptable and does photograph nicely.
@Caitlyn12: It's style 121. I really loved the belt. Not good for girls with curves, sadly.
@Caitlyn12: Maybe it was the sample size, but my feeling was the waist hit at a very odd point and made the waistline look fuller for all my girls over a size 8 (both of my sisters are a size 10). However, it looked phenomenal on the other two girls in my wedding (size 0's, eye rolllll lol). I think the pleating at the waist is the part that makes it not so universally flattering. But I would definitely have your girls try it on if you love it because it is quite a pretty dress.

Hi bees! I was hoping some of you had an opinion about Bari Jay bridesmaids dresses. I found the perfect ones for my wedding through them and was all set to order, but I have since read some poor reviews, stating in particular that they are notorious for mis-sizing their dresses (even if you go off the measurement chart exactly) and have poor customer service. Have you bought through them? What was your experience like? And do dresses run big/small? Thanks!
