Hi! I grew up in the Grand Rapids area, so Western Michigan has always been very close to my heart. In fact, we got married in Spring Lake!

finally, J just reminded me (he's reading over my shoulder....I love Sunday mornings!) that FM Gardens has a barn on site too, although its a little on the pricy side IMHO. :)

@heatherp i've considered that location...did you like it? do you have pictures?
I've been to Post Family Farm, it is beautiful! It wasn't big enough for our wedding but the people were very nice and it looked like fun.
I've loved it so far (my wedding isn't until 09/25). The owners are fantastic people and treat everyone like family. They have a cute little dog that runs around and a potbellied big too. There's an awesome meadow/field where you can have your ceremony. I personally don't have any pictures, but there are some on the website. It includes a lot..tables, chairs, centerpieces, tablecovers, etc.

I have another post already in the behive, but I'm hoping for a local response. Does anyone know of a barn in West Michigan (preferably in Grand Rapids)for a reception location? It doesn't have to be big...maybe just big enough for the ceremony and we could put a tent outside for the dinner. Anyone have any ideas?
