Weddingbee boards

My FI has agreed to wear a barong and we have mandated that our groomsmen wear one too :)  My FI is Caucasian, and the groomsmen (barring my brothers) are non-Filipino.  And, I have a feeling once it is known that the groomsmen and the bride's family will be wearing a barong, a lot of my male relatives will wear one too.

Having said that, I live in NC...does anyone know where my FI and groomsmen can get a barong? My mom has suggested having them custom-made in the Philippines and having one of my relatives ship it...is the best way?

I think my fiance' will wear a barong to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner--he has his heart set on a tux for the wedding :)  My mom is ordering his barong from the Philippines and having it sent over. There are a few websites where you can buy them online but I think it's best to have someone you know order from a store in the Philippines

My FI has decided to wear a barong.  We haven't decided if the groomsmen will wear them or not.  The best man is the only other filipino out of them.  I am white (mostly Irish) but FI immigrated to the US when he was 6.  We're trying to tie both cultures together.

I'm wearing a barong (my fiancee is Filipina, I am not).  My future Lolo had his niece in the Philippines order one for me.
