no barong tagalogs are supposed to be creme they arent white; they are made out of pina so has some hue to it; it's still beautiful I had my brotehrs and all my male family use barongs tagalogs it looked nice
Honestly if your guests know the signifigance of the shirt they won't question it. My dad's barong did not match my mom's dress, it was darker, but their wedding pictures are still beautiful!

So my FMIL just brought home the barongs she bought in the Philippines for us - and they are beautiful! One thing I was wondering though is, they are alot more "creme", darker, than I thought they would be. Im afraid it wont match my ivory dress. Does anyone have photos where maybe their dress was lighter than their grooms barong/shirt??? Im wondering, eep! Not a huge deal, but I like to overthink :)
Thanks!
