I would define bases as being...
1st: Kiss
2nd: More making out, lol... how else to say, but "light petting"
3rd: I'm not sure, but I'd say "heavy petting" if you get my drift... don't know if I'd classify oral sex under here or under "all the way home". :)
1st- kissing, handholding. Nothing too big
2nd- making out, a little more touchy feely but nothing below the belt yet
3rd- below the belt, including oral.
Home- the rest of the way lol
I always thought
1st making out
2nd below the belt hands
3rd oral
But-- I know thats a big jump between 1 and 2.... not sure what the "real" way is. :)
I've heard it two ways.
One, more conservative, the one we used in high school:
First base is kissing
Second base is hands above the waist
third base is hands below the waist
Home run is sx
Second system, more liberated, the one we used in college:
First base is kissing
Second base is anything you do with your hands, above or below the waist
Third base is oral sex
Home run is sex
I think this has changed as sexual practices and norms among the younger generation have changed. Oral sex became more common, I guess.
where I grew up, first base meant a kiss, second meant copping a feel, and third meant oral. Home run, of course, meant sealing the deal with sex.

4)sex
atleast how I learned it :)
1 - kissing
2 - touching the chest area
3 - touching below or oral sex
4 - intercourse

I was just thinking about the "bases" people talk about after hearing it on a television show. I don't really have a defined expectation for each base, so it's hard when people talk about it to know what exactly they're saying. What are your definitions of the bases?
