Finally our bathroom renovation on our new-not-so-new home is 98% done! Still need to get a towel rack to put above the toilet and a bathroom mat but it’s a start to the many renovation projects to come! Here are some before and afters….the previous owner had a ton of animals (hence the animal hose) she even left us a kitty litter box (litter and all) in the shower, yuck!

Gorgeous!! What material did you use for the shower walls? Is that actual stone, brick, vinyl, synthetic stone?

Okay, I’ll be honest, you could have done a crap job and it still would have been a huge improvement, LOL!!! But you did an amazing job designing everything and it looks fantastic. Great job!!

soy: It looks great! I’ll be honest though, I would have kept the pink bathroom, LOL.
I was actualy in tears today about my own bathroom. I had it remodeled last year, and the floor needs replaced again(my husbands fault for telling the guy to go ahead and use cheap stuff). The shower grout is also disintegrating(this is the fault of the guy who did it). I am back to square one with it.
I’m hoping maybe your post is a sign my own bathroom woes will work out.

thank you so much for the sweet comments everyone, it really means a lot! This is our first home together after living in a studio apartment for the last few years, it’s also my husbands first house (he grew up in a 2 bedroom apt) so we are really excited to finally have some more space. The house we bought is definitely a fixer upper and it’s going to take time to get everything we want to get done, but I’m happy we can cross this off our list!
MrsBeck: thank you! you have no idea the look of horror on my husbands face when I told him I wanted a chandelier in the bathroom, i thought this one looks like crystal water droplets so not TOO feminine lol thankfully he likes it!
canadajane: thank you! It’s ceramic Italian tile
Jijitattoo: lol you are definitely right….best part of the whole Reno you can’t even see…its the SMELL
Bridey77: oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that 🙁 hopefully everything will work out for you….i know how frustrating renovating can be so I hope you don’t have to deal with it again…have you called any contractors?
Cyanfire: thank you!
FutureMRS3lastnames: bitchy? No way! my husband and I wouldn’t even move into the house until this bathroom was done! Scary part is this isn’t even the worst room in the house…that’s the next project!

Wow this is fabulous. That bathroom was NOT it before. I would spend the majority of my day in there now 🙂
