the florist for my august 23rd wedding was brenda AKA kuga...she was simply amazing...she was full of great ideas, provided me with pictures of mock ups of things so that i could make sound decisions, and did an amazing job...additionally she was way cool to talk to and just an all-around great person...

i have to agree with meelahj. I met up w/ brenda a while ago and she's really sweet and knows a lot about flowers and has great ideas...
i'm glad she's available for my wedding date!

I heart Huckleberry Karen Designs. She's doing my flowers in May and her prices are great. She's in SF, but I am sure she can get the Peninsula. I am pretty sure she did Mrs. Penguins wedding.
I went with Joanna at the Floral Ornament and she was wonderful! She has a store in the financial district, but def does wedding on the Peninsula. I basically told her what I needed for my budget and asked to see what she could make. She surprised me with how lush and beautiful everything was. I wonder if she made any profit off my wedding. I can say that I checked out quite a few florists...at least 10...and Anna was by far the best choice! Their work is just beauftiful and I really feel comfortable that I don't have to micro manage the flowers...I know what they put together will be perfect. I also felt that the price was a value! Many much ess talented floral designers wanted much more money.
I wouldn't hesitate to at least make an appointment to meet with them. Best of luck!
