This is my first post, just joined today! My FI and I booked the India House for our April 2012 wedding.  Anyone been there or had an event there? Any advice?

I am having my wedding reception at Bayard's in May 2012.  I am debating on a color scheme and I was wondering if either of you had decided on colors?  I know that I want to go with blue, but I am deciding on a complimentary color as well and was interesting in learning how you are planning to decorate at Bayard's.  I am having a small wedding so the cocktail hour and dinner will take place on the second floor.  Are you renting linens or sticking with the Bayard's white linens?  Also, have you booked a florist yet?  I have been speaking with a few florists but haven't made up my mind yet.  Thank you and I really look forward to hearing how you are planning your weddiing at Bayard's!

I am going with an ivory/green color scheme. Our ceremony is in the red room on the first floor, so we aren't really decorating except for a few candles. Cocktails on the second floor and then the reception on the 3rd. We are really just decorating in the reception hall. We are sticking with the Bayards white linens. My florist is Flowers by Richard, located on 53rd and 8th. He's FABULOUS and I highly recommend him. He's so easy to work with and is willing to work with any budget.
