I use the Maybelline BB cream in medium deep. I really like it but the color comes off a bit ash y in photos but my friend who has it in the ‘deep’ looks good in photos. I am a caramel/bronze co l or & often have this issue. You may want to use your favorite moisturizer & foundation together to make your own. Hope this helps.

I also use the maybelline in the “darkest” color I could find. I am a light brown, and it matches really well, but it’s ridiculous that there isn’t more of a choice for WOC

I am using the Maybelline one in the darkest shade, and can’t wear it in Summer!!During winter it was perfect. I live in South Korea where BB creams were developed, and it is EVERY WHERE yet I can’t find a shade 🙁

I’m using one by Smashbox right now. It’s a little pricy (I think $26), but I really like it. The color is dark (real descriptive, right?). I’ve been looking for a drugstore brand to try once this one is gone, but I haven’t found anything in the stores. what a PITA. Hopefully fashion fair gets on the BB train soon!

@Happy Hopeful Bee:  oh great! Thanks for this update. I JUST bought a new one…go figure! I bought Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in deep for $8.99 at Ulta yesterday because I figured that’s cheap enough just to try out. Turns out that so far, I think i’m liking it better than the Smashbox (which was actually $39!) because the Dream Fresh keeps my face matte throughout the whole day.  Should have started with the 8.99 one! I’m going to look into this brand too, I just love makeup! Thanks for sharing!
