I say shop around, 900 isnt uncommon to spend on linens, but that all depends on how many tables you have and such. but if your caterer provides linen, I saw use that, and simply buy damask runners, you can normally get them for 15 bucks a runner (found on etsy, which is a lot better than paying 40 bucks a table for rentals) when i googled damask runners I found a lot of table set up ideas.

Thinking about using this vendor for our linens...wanting some advice and or thoughts. A little expensive, but looking well worth it. I love the damask look, with black napkins. The total price to rent would be around $900 for tablecloth and napkins. This is to rent only. Am I an idiot? Could I just make table runners instead with damask print, and use the linen that the caterer provides? Am I just pissing money away for no reason?
