This is a pretty random question but I’ll throw it out there anyway..
I’m currently charting and my BBT rose slightly after ovulation as expected and has stayed slightly elevated since then. I take my temp every morning when I get up (around 8-8:45am). I’m only 6DPO so I know its too early for anything
HOWEVER I’ve been randomly tired a few times since I ovulated and (since I’m wierd…) I’ll check my temp during this time and I am suddenly significantly higher in temperature. I go from 98.2 to 99.8 or higher! (highest was 101!)It goes down again after a few hours, but since it’s going from normal to almost fever-like temps I just thought I’d double check it.

I’m confused – are you saying you check your temp during the day, or are these your BBT variations first thing in the morning? If it’s during the day, I don’t think that means anything – your temp will change some throughout the day depending on what you’re doing, environment, etc. The only pattern that you can read into (in terms of fertility) is your BBT, which is your resting temperature first thing when you wake up.

Always go with the first temp you take. If you keep taking your temperature just because, its only going to confuse you. Your BBT is supposed to stay somewhat elevated during your LP phase and then if you are not pregnant it will start dropping. Hopefully yours stays up high for the next 9 months!
