I have done that, it's just like shortening your cycle, there is no reason to take 7 pills rather than 4 really. People will probably recommend talking to your doctor (but I am lazy and don't like paying for doctor appointments). My body doesn't like it when I skip sugar pills (I often have a worse period the next month, or it will come without warning like it's trying to teach me a lesson) but I still do it when I have to (like for our honeymoon).
Chances are you may spot still or even get your period, but you can always try to skip it by skipping the last week of pills and starting a new pack
i've done that, but i'd be careful--you may not be "protected" if you jack with your cycle. Use a back up. Hopefully it staves off your period. Period supression doesn't always work, unfortunately. You may still spot or bleed a few days.

I'm taking Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo right now and I'm a few pills in to the 'green' week. My problem is that we're leaving for our beach vacation on Friday (it snuck up on me) and I just realized I'll end up getting my period right in the middle of it. I know you can skip the green pills all together and start a brand new pack to skip a period but can you still do that if you've already started taking the green ones?
