I ordered my street size on the upper end, I usually wear a 2/4 and I ordered a 4, it fit.
(But I sent it back because I didn't think it looked good on me. I think it looks great on other people, just didn't like it on me.)
I can usually go a size smaller in BCBG dresses but i havent tried that one and every dress is different.
I find that BCBG strapless dress run small in the bust. I can wear a 4 or a 6 and I'm a 6 in BCBG dresses.
I recently purchased a similar BCBG dress:
I typically wear a size 2 to 4 depending on the brand. I tried on the 2, and it smushed my chest, so I ended up going with the 4. I recommend going with the higher end of your typical street size.
I pretty much always wear a 4 and I'm also a 4 in BCBG, not bigger. Jean size...27/28 or 4. I have at least 4 BCBG dresses. Where do you live? They might allow you to order to their nearest store to try on?
I think their dresses run slightly small. I'm usually a large 10, small 12, and sometimes a 12 is pushing it for me in that brand.
I ordered this dress, and sent it back because I didn't like it once I got it on. I am generally size six - on the small end of 6 on top, and on the large end of 6 on bottom. The 6 in this dress fit me perfectly, so I would agree that it leans a little toward the small end through the bust. But the hips were fine for me too, so it doesn't run too small.
I wore this in a size 8 when I normally wear a size 6 in dresses. I am selling it so if you want a worn once (and dry cleaned) please message me.
If your measurements are different sizes on top & bottom you can take it into nordstroms for alterations.
Order 1 size up - I was normally a size 4, but the 6 fit me like a glove.

I am usually a 6 in jeans, but sometimes an 8 depending on style.. i'm just wondering how their dresses usually run..
