FrenchNewlyWed:  Glad you’re okay!  Be safe momma.  When I was pregnant, I only wore dexflex flats.  Nothing else, straight through the winter.  and I for sure wasn’t running either.  I took it easy to avoid harming myself at all during pregnancy.  I was also paranoid about getting hurt, so I was always taking it slow and easy.  Probably drove my poor husband nuts whenever I would take forever to get to a place (He’s 17 inches taller than me and my 5 steps was his one stride).

FrenchNewlyWed:  Uh! Glad you are okay! So scary. I have almost fallen a couple of times (just in the house not wearing shoes), but my recent scare was about 2 weeks ago. I was unplugging my flat iron and the shock totally ran up my arm. Of course being the irrational pregnant lady that I can be at times, I turned to Dr. Google. All bad. Finally, I called my doc and he got me in for an ultrasoud just to ease my mind and our little sweetie was just fine! 🙂 Just wanted to let you know that simply changing your shoes doesn’t prevent all scares/accidents!

FrenchNewlyWed:  I get you, I fell on my belly when was 31 weeks, and spent 7 hours being monitored in the middle of the night. A week later I had my little boy at 32 weeks.

Glad everything is okay

I’m glad you and baby are ok. This is a good reminder for me. I live in a cold climate and we’ve started to have snow and ice. I’ve been running on the streets for exercise and probably should just chill out and do some yoga…or at least run on the treadmill.

FrenchNewlyWed:  You know they really don’t know. I had asked that.  I had my 32 week check up the day before I went into preterm labor and everything checked out okay.  And the next day little boy decided he wanted out.

Oh I didn’t mean I would lie on the couch all day! I meant I’d do yoga or run on the treadmill, which is not icy. 🙂
